It’s the road that never ends. OH MY GOD, I’m lost again. Please send help to look for me Or I’ll be stuck on this road for eternity
It’s the road that never ends. It twists and turns, making my stomach spin. Take my hand, pull me free. Please I beg you, let me be off this road again
It’s the road that never ends. No one around, no one to see Don’t try to follow me you’ll never leave I’m lost in time, I won’t be fine.
It’s the road that never ends. I’m going round the bend. No turn off in site, no way to be right. Gas station maps all say it.
It’s the road that never ends
Sometimes inspiration can be an old song parody. I was at work during a rather long, boring training thinking about driving highway one between Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo. It was the same trapped feeling of the trail never-ending. The tune from the Song That Never Ends in my head and this is the result.
I have been writing new little drabbles in my notebooks like this for months. I’ve been ignoring the main story since the end of summer. I’m sure that I will find a place for this crazy tune in the new story somewhere. I am planning out the background of the universe and the bigger place where my characters live. I’m starting to put together the final destination for my tale. It will of course change before the end but I like to have a goal in mind.
